Lazy Sunday Afternoon with Mr Love & Justice & Friends
A chilled afternoon of live acoustic roots music in the fantabulous Savernake Street Community Hall, Old Town, Swindon.
Jess Vincent is a young Singer /Songwriter from Bradford on Avon,Wiltshire, and the owner of a highly distinctive and mature voice and song writing talent. Her recent 3rd album SHINE has been garnering rave reviews “a dozen positively life-affirming new songs of her own special brand of accessible, tuneful folky charm that demonstrate her ever-maturing outlook on life” review by David Kidman.
David Moss (ex-Banoffi) is lead singer with Light Garden and was a PRS Foundation ATOM award winner recently – a prestigious annual award which celebrates and rewards the best “originators of music” working in the UK. Dave plays Bouzouki, Mandolin, Fiddle, Viola, Cello and Guitar, not to mention extraordinary throat singing where two notes are produced at once: a drone and the flute like harmonics above – an ancient Mongolian method used for healing and meditation. Unless you witness Dave and / or LightGarden performing you’d be forgiven for thinking this extraordinary sound was produced through use of some electronic effect.
